July 4 Fireworks, 2011 |
I’ve seen fireworks displays in at least a few dozen locations in America, over cities, mountains, the ocean, and lakes. This Summer I saw the best I’ve seen yet, in South lake Tahoe. Ranked #6 on the top 15 by AOL, (July 4th Fireworks: 15 of the Biggest Shows in America Ranked), it offers some of the most interesting and innovative burst patterns I’ve seen. The pace is great, choreographed to music playing on a local radio station. Click on teh photo above to see examples. I’ll try to add a video clip when I find time to convert it to MPEG.
I’m testing different ways of posting my Picasa photo albums to my blog. The image at the top of this post is linked to the photo album, while just above this paragraph is a slideshow created using Flash (which seems like a better way to share it, but Flash may not display on Apple devices).
