Extreme Exposure Edit Test Part 2: Five Exposure Average

This version is a simple five exposure average, performed in the Bartch – Average mode of Photomatix, with adjustment in Lightroom.  The unevenness in the sky enhanced by the tone mapping process is gone. The color and contrast are much better.

  1. The coolest thing about Batch – Average mode +Frank Leers is that it's one of the features which works unrestricted and without watermarks when using the free trial of Photomatix, so anyone can use it indefinitely before deciding that they might want to branch out and (buy the license to) use other modes!

  2. That is very nice, as was the other which I will have to find to compare…unless, of course you would post all three together for the quick compare. At any rate, thanks for the BA tip as I need to upgrade perhaps from PM v3 to v4.
