Even a rattlesnake of this size could potentially be deadly, so it's entirely appropriate that the shallow depth of field makes even this tiny guy seem more menacing. Congrats +Elizabeth Hahn.

This is Button, the little rattlesnake we found on the #sullimammothwalk this weekend. He was such a cute little guy laying in the road. Sadly, laying in the road is not a good place for snakes. š
The eastern Sierras, while looking stark, have a ton of wildlife. Among the other animals we saw were several herds of deer, coyotes, squirrels, ground squirrels, many types of birds including a pair of ospreys. And one super fast bear cub ran out in front of me driving home from Bodie late at night. Thank you little guy for waking me up, I was starting to get sleepy!
