I wanted to share a bunch of Death Valley photos from my trip last week, but my album shares aren’t working at the moment, so here’s a shot from the return trip through Nevada.
Since that visit in 2013, I’ve returned to catch the mine in better light, like this shot from 2018:
As of 2019, now we’ve managed to arrange interior tours with the mine’s owner. Here’s a shot from inside looking out:
Contact me for details on when we’ll revisit. Following the success of our Nevada photography workshops in 2018 & 2019, we’ll probably return in Fall 2019 or May 2020, but in the meantime we’ve had a request to add Central Nevada mining towns to our Bodie workshop in late August 2019! We may add another Nevada workshop itinerary for fall 2019 as well: https://www.jeffsullivanphotography.com/blog/nevada-photography-workshops/
Night time-lapse video I captured in several Nevada sites:

Wicked! +Jeff Sullivan, if you can spare a minute, take a look at the comment on my reshare of this in about 5 minutes.
Stop by Death Valley Junction at all?
nice photo!
Reminds me of Mackenna's Gold!!
Yeah!Gregory Peck will certainly love to visit this site!!
We didn't make it that far south on this trip +James Russell. I'd like to see the show at the Amargosa Opera House sometime.
+Jeff Sullivan God knows how old Marta Beckett is by now. Don't wait too long. My dad used to take me up there a lot in the 1980s. He would help her restoring the place. I remember once we went near the Hoover Dam to get some theater chairs someone had donated to the opera house. I need to get back down there. It's been 25 years or so, at least.
+Jeff Sullivan True!! It was Arizona where the movie was shot, right? Nevertheless rugged, desert terrain!! Plus a gold mine! Brings forth certain scenes!!
would have been perfect for todays theme: #wildwestwednesday
