• Here's Excellent advice from +Chris Chabot from the comments the last time I posted this tip, describing how to find your your numerical G+ ID even if your default appears to be a text ID:

  There is a work around to get someone's ID even if they have a customer URL, simply go into one of their albums and the ID is in the url again.

  _For example if you go to:
  https://plus.google.com/u/0/photos/+ChrisChabot/albums_

  _And then click on my portfolio it goes to:
  https://plus.google.com/u/0/photos/108189587050871927619/albums/5691660859031253185_

  Which has the user ID (108189587050871927619)

• I was shooting a time-lapse sequence +Sairam Sundaresan, so I had lots of exposures, and it was easy to combine them in a program usually used for stacking night images for star trails: Creating Star Trails Images
