I wasn't able to make it to the recent photowalk in San Francisco, but the beach they visited is one of my favorites. I last visited October 2011, so I think it's time for a return trip!

Beached
After the moon rose in the sky a bit I was able to get some nice moon shine on this beach by the Golden Gate Bridge, but the shady side of this massive chunk of wood was still too dark, so I used a flashlight to give it a bit more definition.#SaturdayNightLight #PlusPhotoExtract

Cool. I first thought that it was a book
+Jeff Sullivan - Jeff, a question, if I may. Did you use one of the newer LED bulb flashlights or the older incandescent bulb? It's a warmer-looking light on the wood, so I'm guessing you had an incandescent one.
+Tor Ivan Boine one book to rule them all, and in the darkness bind them! ;)
beautiful! Sorry we didn't get to hook up - maybe next weekend :)
Q way!!!!!
+Jeff Sullivan it's an exquisite photo and I wished I was as good as you! Well done and keep up the beautiful work of yours! =D
Thought it was a book as well. Awesome look. I like having a foreground object
Are you coming up for the moon rise +Joe Azure? That would be great!
I very much prefer incandescent flashlights +Mike Martin, especially if there's other light pollution around, since a lot of that is incandescent as well. If you choose to color correct it (not leave it so warm), the correction is more consistent across the image.
Hermosa fotografia, felicitaciones!
