Trees in Snow at Night

I don't create many black and white images, but something about these trees just begged for this treatment.

  1. +Madge Bienstock I don't feel any of those things with this. In fact it has a peaceful and serene feel to me. My daughter is an artist abs some of her work seems so sad to me, when I asked her about it, she described something I had never seen before. I'm still amazed how we can all see the same thing and possibly because we are all going through something different, it effects how our minds and hearts process it.

  2. +Tammy Ireland I agree with you that we can each be effected by art in different ways and that is what we want.  We want to feel something about it.  My Aunt and Uncle have a driveway with trees similar to the ones in this photo, so for me it is like a memory of home and family.  Love it.

  3. Please don't get me wrong ~~~ it is a beautiful photo ~ ~~ and for some reason I have a particular fondness for black & white photos~~~ it's just that they evoke my raw emotions ~~~ perhaps that's why I have a particular fondness for the black & white photos ~~~

  4. Black and white is still My favorite. For color shot, my favorite is right after a rain storm when the trees and ground are different shades from pitch black earth to soft greens.
