Happy New Year… Year of the Snake!
We love animals, so it'll be happiest if we get to make friends with lots of snakes this year! Around here we end up helping them off of roads a lot. Once I even helped a large rattlesnake off a trail… I had just stepped over him, apparently thinking he was a stick. My brother was behind me, and asked if I had stepped over it on purpose!

Hey, did you know....That a snake with round pupils (like this one) is NOT poisonous, but snakes with elliptical pupils (think cat eyes) ARE poisonous.
