Comet PANSTARRS from Death Valley National Park

This was the best view of Comet PANSTARRS I was able to get last week.  We've had hazy skies since then, but I was able to capture it again last night.  I'm working on those images now.

  1. +Gailen Mapes It can be tough to spot.  On the 12th I could see it with my eyes, but then on the 13th it was just hazy enough that I could see the crescent moon but not the comet.  Then last night the comet never got bright enough to see well without magnification.  I could never find it with small binoculars or even with my eyes while looking through a 105mm or 200mm lens. I found it only by shooting at 200mm, then finding the comet reviewing the photos at 10x magnification on the back of my camera.
