It's an interesting observation by +John Paul Caponigro. I'm sharing his post, so I'll include his commentary here, as well as a link to his original post:

Any G+ers Using Instagram ?
I was using Instagram. Because I object to the new new TOUs (they can change terms at any time without notification and hold you legally liable for anything they do with your images) I deleted all my previously posted images, I'm only looking not posting. I'm hoping this will change – again. There will be a panel on rights and social networks at this falls PhotoPlus spearheaded by ASMP and my hope is that this leads to a set of recommended guidelines / standards about fair usage and reporting by social networks that is adopted industry wide.
Google+'s terms are better, so I prefer to share images here. There's a decidedly different tone to the G+ community, less mobile/ instant/ train of thought / casual – which is often a pro – but leaves a need for communities like Instagram – or a way of differentiating these two kinds of content on G+.
I welcome your thoughts and comments.
