Sunset Rain at Mono Lake

From a visit in September 2012, when +Lori Hibbett +roma g +Natalia Stone and I checked the Web cams at the +Mono Lake Committee and saw clouds building, so we headed over to the lake to catch sunset.

I'm revisiting some of past photos from Mono Lake visits as I format a few to the right size to complete the Mono Lake chapter for my upcoming guide book.

This week's forecast is for afternoon clouds, and they could build to the point of creating scattered thunderstorms.  Fortunately that's all before my son's 8th grade graduation later this week.
