Enjoy the Milky Way This Weekend!

For those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, the Milky Way is about as high and bright as it gets… it's all downhill from here until next year.  Enjoy it while you can!

Milky Way over Bodie
Our night photography workshop this coming Saturday, June 29 will be the last great opportunity we'll have for Milky Way shots at Bodie this year.  The Summer Solstice was a couple of days ago, and that marks the highest that the bright, complex center of the Milky Way will climb in Northern Hemisphere skies.  The Milky Way will still be available for our August 9 workshop as well, but the brightest parts won't be as high in the sky, and its overall angle will be more vertical.  I have two spaces left; contact me if you may be interested in joining us.
