There was a very light layer of smoke from Yosemite's Rim Fire drifting over Bodie State Historic Park during the night photography workshop on Saturday. It was just enough to pick up the light of the moon shooting through some low clouds. I only had time for a couple of compositions before the cloud and the moon beams passed.

Moon Beams Over Bodie
Light reflected off of the moon shoots over the horizon shortly before moon rise at Bodie State Historic Park. This was taken during my night photography workshop at Bodie last Saturday. My final workshops there in 2013 are coming up on October 12 (night) and October 13 (dawn/interiors):

Love those rays Jeff!
It was amazing how fast they came and went, +Kurt Harvey +Joseph Trinh. We noticed them, ran to a couple of compositions, then they were gone.
