New "Photographing Washington" Guide Book Available

If you've ever used the Photographing the Southwest series to find your way to the best landscape photography sites in Utah, Arizona, Colorado and New Mexico, you probably look forward to the latest volume in the series as they're introduced.  A couple of years ago +Greg Vaughn published Photographing Oregon, then +Gary Crabbe completed Photographing California – North and +Tom Till added Photographing the World

Congrats to Greg Vaughn on his second volume in the series.  Contact him directly for information on when signed copies will become available.

I'm almost finished with my addition to the series,
Photographing California – South!

I just received an advance copy of my new book "Photographing Washington", and it looks great. The reproduction quality is excellent and I know all the contributing photographers will be pleased with their images. The book will ship in September and advance orders are available from the publisher's website at http://phototripusa.com/washington.html. If you'd like an autographed copy, email me and I'll notify you when I receive my shipment.

  • I had bought every book in the series before I became involved in writing one +Nina Baldwin.  In fact, I had bought two copies of the first volume Southern Utah, because the first copy had become too travel-worn from all my adventures following it!

  • How weird is this?  I was just looking at purchasing this book on Amazon.com today.  I have photographing the southwest and photographing Arizona.  This will be my latest addition to the series once I pull the trigger on it.

  • Amazon just told me about its release in an email this morning +Darren Neupert.  I guess purchasing the past six books gave them enough to go on.  If I remember correctly, at least one of my two copies of the Utah book was purchased in the Zion National Park visitor center.  That may be how I found the series.

  • Update from the author, +Greg Vaughn on the availability of signed copies:
"It's here!  My first shipment has arrived."

These take a lot of time, travel and up-front expense to produce, and buying directly from the author is the most effective way to support the ongoing development of these sorts of guides.
