I woke up early to see if I could catch Comet Lovejoy again, but it was cloudy, so I had to settle for this sunrise instead.
Details:
Canon 5D Mark III with 16-35mm lens
Cokin #121 GND filter
ISO 50 and f/22 yielded a 3.2 second exposure to help smooth out the water.
"Camera Standard" color calibration in +Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5.2
White balance 5294 kelvin
Boosted clarity +11, vibrance +8, saturation +6.
I also adjusted exposure, brightness, whites and shadows to get a decent rendering of the event while avoiding loss of color dynamic range in the highlights which can result from trying to correct the straight-out-of-camera result, adjusting color calibration, white balance and saturation.
