This is another shot from a visit to Bodie last August which I've revisited to create a more complete edit. The sky was too light with a bright, 90% full moon coming up, so I darkened it to make the stars show up better.

Beautiful long exposure +Jeff Sullivan
Excellent shot!
You must have some great connections to pull off that darkening the moon trick. I always have to just wait 2 weeks ;-).

Yes +Andrew Wisler, my good friend +Adobe Photoshop Lightroom is very powerful!

good evening Jeff ,your photo is beautiful +++++ !
That's good, +Jeff Sullivan. The effect on the tides might be too disruptive doing it the other way.
Beautiful night photography
Nice
Great shot!
Beautiful lighting, nice work!
What kind of camera do you use?
I use whatever camera is most convenient +Amanda Youra , sometimes my iPhone 5S, sometimes a +GoPro 3+, often a Canon 70D or Canon 5D mark III. the most important factors in producing this image were my photographic technique and my editing of the result in +Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5, not the particular camera I was using (which was the Canon 5D mark III).
