+Jeff Sullivan +Lori Hibbett so good to see you both even just briefly. Thanks for the tip on Lake Lundy, the colors at the Lake were indeed fresh. The beaver ponds were bit less, looks like the leaves were blown away.
Hope to see you both again soon!!!
On the way to meet you we popped in on the road to Lundy Lake to see how it was doing so we could let you know +Swee Oh :

The comet we were rushing to see that evening turned out to be too dim to capture well with a DSLR. If we had been able to try to shoot it without clouds the night before, it would have been better to hang out with you and the group Saturday night. We didn't know that though, and where we ended up led us to some interesting new spots the next day, so it still worked out well.
This is soo gorgeous!! Thanks so much again for thinking of us! It was indeed full of yellow and there were some spots of orange when we drove past Lee Vining.
So glad you guys got something out from the trip, it was good to see you both even just for a few minutes :)) +Jeff Sullivan
