On Saturday night +Lori Hibbett and I determined from the top of the White Mountains on Saturday night that Comet Siding Spring was really faint and would be difficult to pick up as it passed Mars the next day. So we explored the area on Sunday and ended up here, where we could watch Mars set behind the White Mountains Sunday night, with or without the comet, and catch this nice sunrise on Monday.

Thanks
Jim
This was shot at 138mm +James Kuhn across the valley, so I'm going to guess that we were roughly 15 miles from Boundary Peak.
Thanks. Love the high desert.
