Help +AAA's Via Magazine pick great sights in the West, and you can enter to win $1500 for a trip, plus $400 credit at Hertz for your rental car. They ask you a few short questions, then ask for your nomination for a great sight in the West. What could epitomize the West better than a real Wild West ghost town, preserved in a state of "arested decay"?
To vote and enter the sweepstakes, go to their poll at www.aaa.com/viawonders, click on your votes for their 3-4 multiple choice questions, then write in Bodie State Historic Park at the end as a Wonder of the West!

I love the wonderful light!!
Belle capture, nous ramène a des temps immémoriaux: merci Jeff, bravo
Via is just a magazine of ads with little in the way of anything helpful. They're also very repetitive and publish thinly veiled recycled articles from year to year. Mine goes straight into the recycle bin completely unread.
Doug, vous cassez l'ambiance, surement raison mais pas le dire
It's amazing that this place is so well preserved after so long a time. I keep going over the scene to find something I haven't noticed before. Nice photo!
+Jeff Sullivan feliz 2015 y bella imagen :)
Thank you, Very nice photograph.
Well captured
+Dottie Hardage Thanks! Everyone involved in the park is very dedicated to keeping things as original as possible. There's a story about a photographer years ago who set down a lens cap on a flat surface, and it left a mark in the historic dust. They still retell that story when we arrange monitored access to interiors, to emphasize how original they want everything left.
Very nice
