Here's my first impression of the new LG G4 after a few days use, and the RAW output in particular is really impressive… http://www.jeffsullivanphotography.com/blog/2015/05/18/new-lg-g4-smartphone-review-raw-file-output/

Beautiful…. Nice close up
I was just looking for a successor to my old phone…
Photographs seem promising…
+Robert Zieliński The album is up to 34 photos so far, and I'll be out for the next few days, so I'll have more by the end of the week. So far the excellent image stabilization, RAW output, manual mode, color spectrum sensor (for accurate white balance) and 4K video are standout features for me, and the performance (focus, color) was excellent on these first few close-ups, can't wait to do more. The manual control offers exposures up to 30 seconds, so I need to work out a way to hold the camera for long exposures.
This is my first time back on Android since my first smartphone, the original Droid, but I'm becoming reacquainted with it. Apparently some of the features like RAW output were enabled by a recent release of the Android OS (5.0), so camera apps could really crank up the quality as they start to use the expanding range of camera controls available, including RAW output.
For long exposure the best thing would be a adapter:

I have this and I'm happy!
☺
Restrictions on the camera application is not a problem, because in the shop we have applications with manual settings. These applications allow longer exposures times than 30 seconds.
But RAW!!! For now the best format was PNG files…
Color spectrum sensor when saving in RAW file will not have too much to do.
😉
I have only one question:
G4 has a memory card slot?!! Currently I have a galaxy s4… change to galaxy S6 without the memory card slot is laughable .. Especially when images will be saved in raw format…
+Jeff Sullivan Ha I found! In G4 memory card slot is on board! It is true that there is no mhl support but LG has slimport! So all clear, soon I change the phone at LG G4.
🙂
+Robert Zieliński I do need an adapter like that, perhaps in a slightly larger size, thank you!
+Jeff Sullivan There are different sizes.
I have a size "M" for galaxy s4 mini
and "L" for galaxy s4 and note 3…
Even telephones attached to the handlebars do not fell! 🙂
