Water is Back in Death Valley

Visit soon, as water doesn't last long in a valley that receives only 1.9" of rain each year!

Lake Manly is Back in Badwater Basin!
Lake Manly forms in the Badwater Basin when enough rain falls in the surrounding mountain ranges to leave a pool of water.  Recent rains have formed Lake Manly, and it will resurface the salt flats with a fresh coat of white, but it often does not last long under Death Valley's baking sun.
