I visited to Cathedral Gorge State Park in Lincoln, County, Nevada in May, 2018, and was treated to this wonderful passing rain storm and rainbow. Cathedral Gorge has amazing eroded mudstone rock formations, with many slot canyons etched into the surrounding canyon walls. Whether it’s day or night, when I’m passing by I always make a point of stopping in to see what new discoveries I find!
The State Campground there makes an excellent stopover, with showers and hookups for road-weary travelers. Here are a few of the photos I’ve captured at Cathedral Gorge.
