Here are a few more photo candidates for my upcoming guide book to Southern California landscape photography locations. I use the term phrase "Southern California loosely. The book will cover from Yosemite to Santa Cruz in the north to San Diego in the south. I'll have the opportunity to include a limited number (say 10-20) of photographs from other photographers in this book, part of the award-winning series published by Laurent Martres, described at www.PhotoTripUSA.com.
I'll announce more details on that opportunity in the next week or two; let me know if you have some Southern California photos you might like to have considered, and I'll try to notify you when I make that announcement.

I don't know if you ever include non-professional photos but I take a lot of scenic dog shots in the Santa Monica Mountains.

This one will mostly a landscape photography site guide book +Claudia Bugh, but some man-made elements like lighthouses, historic sites (and a few random unavoidable houses) and so on may be included. We're not necessarily looking for "art print" quality images or amazing and rare weather conditions, just something pretty representative of what a visiting photographer might find.
In the Santa Monica Mountains a few vista points with sunset/sunrise or "city lights" views might be interesting. We definitely want to include a few site close-in to the greater Los Angeles Basin… beaches and so forth.
Well I have beach house in San Clemente and I live in the mountains in Topanga so I have lots of scenery to inspire me ~ and something to aspire too! Love seeing your pics ~

These sites won't necessarily all make it into the book, only the ones with reasonable access and high photographic potential. The goal is not necessarily "art print" quality images with stunning and unique weather, the goal is to show a representative sample of the type of opportunities any photographer arriving at that location may find. That's not to say that stunning sunsets for example would be excluded, to some degree coastal locations are all about opportunities for sunset, I'm just saying that the subject has to be the site and the setting, and the type of foreground subjects which characterize it. Contributing photographers don't need to be professionals, but quality is important: unadjusted images and cell phone snapshots probably won't make the cut and highly over-processed photos might not accurately represent the site.

I had already favorited one of your Little Corona shots over on Flickr +Stephanie Sawyer, I meant to ask you about that. I've sent you an invitation to join the community; I'm hoping it'll be easier to show photos to my publisher over there rather than send him off chasing a few dozen links.
This sounds very exciting… I wonder if I could contribute photos from summits if highest mountains of California?
I'll provide samples of High Sierra locations +Elena Omelchenko, but a thorough exploration of that would take years more (and probably not have a very large market). If you have a particularly scenic spot or two, sure, let's see them. I don't even have a shot from Mt. San Jacinto. Did any of your shots form there turn out well?
