While I we were waiting for sunset at Mono Lake on Saturday, +Amy Heiden +Tran Mai +Lori Hibbett and I ran around the area and caught some Winter shots. At this spot we had a very brief few moments when a small cloud covered the sun, shadowing the foreground and allowing the mountains in the background to really stand out.

Cool shot. Something like a rock or leaves or something in the foreground would have made this more interesting instead of the ice. Tough critic;)
I didn't want to interrupt the leading lines in the foreground heading to the subject (mountains and their reflection) +Shaunak Mukherjee.
I could artificially "enhance" them to make that more obvious, but the result is rarely better than a more subtle approach.
The lines in the ice are one of my favorite parts of this image. Lovely shot Jeff.
