Time-lapse video of moon – Jupiter conjunction January 22, 2013

On January 22 the moon and Jupiter were close enough together to be captured at an effective focal length of approximately 1000mm.  Click on the full screen arrows at the bottom of the video, and it'll play the high resolution 1080p HD copy!

I captured a few hundred images so I could show their movement over time in a time-lapse video.  More notes on how I shot this astronomical event are posted to my blog over on +Blogger
