Wild Iris Season in the Eastern Sierra

This is the time of year when the wild iris are blooming in  the Eastern Sierra.  They'll be doing great down near Bishop through the end of the month, and the bloom will move up in elevation until it reaches the Bridgeport area at 7000 feet in early to mid June.

  1. +Emily Ford You may want to post a photo to G+, since given circle limit of 5000, some people occasionally run a Chrome extension to remove people who seem to be inactive on G+.  Their definition of "inactive" may vary, but it could be a short as 30 days.  I almost didn't put you in the circle, but I figured that perhaps people who hadn't posted anything in a couple of months might come back if they saw some activity, such as people circling them.

  2. thank you for the suggestion!  I just got my computer reformatted so that I can do so.  I will post an image that I've been working on this evening when I get home 🙂
