So I was told this shot is boring. What do you think?
ps. No layering; this is a single shot. This opportunity happens just a few times a year.

Was this taken from an elevated position say, on the Lower Falls trail? Or was this from the valley floor?
great pic
That picture is not boring at all. Half dome is one of my favorite subjects
I love this photo!
I don't find it boring… But I do think it would have more impact in monochrome.
I love this place. Great shot!
No, it's awesome! But if you layered some star trails it would be even cooler!
This is an amazing shot!! Happy Bearthday!!
I think its a great picture. I love it. My vote is not boring
Boring… Hmmm. Be strong on what you believe.
gorgeous
Love it, great shot would look great enlarged and hanging on my wall:-), any wall
Gorgeous
The person who said it is boring needs a different perspective.
OK
Not at all. I LOVE this shot.
Beautiful!!
wow—+Jeff Sullivan it,s totally dreamy—–
Great shot.
Nope. Not boring.
=^.^=
This would be one of the shots that would be in a frame, proudly displayed on my wall. It has an attraction, nice job!
so much to see in this picture, so much to contemplate.
Who ever finds this boring is boring!
yaaaaahooooo! wish am standn at d peak of this mt when dis was taken,9ce shot.
This was a scouting/practice trip for our upcoming Yosemite workshop in November +Brian Waddle. In landscape photography specific locations/events get super-crowded if they're publicized on the internet, and that harms the uniqueness and value of the shots taken there, so unfortunately the location will have to remain a mystery (except of course for the people who choose to join us).
We did return here for star trails +Joe Gormican, I'm not sure whether I've posted that shot yet or not… I think not.
Its lovely! I like it.
That's a beautiful one!
🙂
I'm wondering where the photographer was when the pix was taken.
Mysteriously beautiful@

Wunderschöne Aufnahme, lieber +Jeff Sullivan !!!
Stunning…
Dark and light off balanced and interesting.
Oops, a week and a couple days late for that wishing! Late Happy Birthday, +Lori Hibbett !!!
Debbie and I were enjoying the "South of Yosemite" country in the Sierra NF, before pausing at Wawona before discovering at Tunnel View that Hy 120 west had reopened, and viewing the Rim Fire area by fading dusk lighting.
Question, +Jeff Sullivan – what have you included in the book text on the "between the national parks" part of the Sierra? It's certainly an overlooked mountain landscape (heck, it took us 34 years to get back there after a vehicle breakdown in July 1979!) We enjoyed the Sugar Pine-Nelder Grove-Bass Lake-North Fork-Mile High area, and didn't even do any real wandering.
Wünsche dir Guten Morgen und einen angenehmen Wochenanfang, lieber +Jeff Sullivan !!!
Herzlichen Dank für die Pluseins, lieber Freund +Jeff Sullivan !!!
