Lori Hibbett

Co-founder

A photographer all her life, Lori began teaching photography with co-founder, Jeff Sullivan, in 2012. She has been named one of the top 100 female photographers and been published in Outdoor Photographer, Random House, and numerous other publications. She is also a dark sky advocate.

Lori first fell in love with photography when she was an instructor for wilderness survival expeditions in the Sierra Nevada mountains, which she helped lead with survival expert Ron Hood for ten years. She enjoys exploring the wilderness and finding new, beautiful locations to photograph. She obtained a degree in Business Management and worked primarily in various accounting management roles and guardianships before switching to teaching photography fulltime. She enjoys not just teaching photography but also teaching about the night sky, plants, animals, and various other survival-related topics. She excels at breaking down complex concepts into easy-to-understand language.

When she’s not on the road, you can find her at home, tending her garden and caring for her goats and chickens.
